Hi guys! I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve written a post. I miss it! How was everybody’s Christmas and Thanksgiving?
I’m squeezing a post in here this morning before I have to clock in for work and that’s pretty much what you can expect from me from here on out for the next few months. I’m going to do my best to post at least once a week but we all know what happened the last time I promised that. So, no promises, I’m just full of hopefulness as I have lots to tell you all!
I think you should know that I have taken on a full-time job now and along with being a wife, well let’s just say that life is just getting super busy. I still love blogging and it’s my hope that I’ll be able to go back to it full-time, but for now I need to work so we can travel. 🙂
Speaking of travel, we just got back from Canada! I know what you’re thinking, “She said they were going to Prague.” Well, that was definitely the plan. We were all packed and a few hours before heading to the airport we got an update that our flight had been delayed, and delayed, and then delayed some more. We ended up finding out that Lufthansa’s staff had gone on strike and they had to cancel over 900 flights due to the unexpected catastrophe. Many hours on the phone later, the customer service rep told us that there weren’t any flights headed to Prague anymore so we ended up just getting our money back. Thank goodness for purchasing insurance!
Our disappointed hearts lounged around for a few days and we sulked for awhile, after all, we’ve been saving literally all year for this vacation. It didn’t seem fair that our trips have been canceled back to back for two years in a row. Â After awhile I decided that we still needed to go on a vacation no matter where it was and after much thought, we decided to go to Canada. There was only one thing we wanted out of the vacation and that was to see snow and man oh man did we get to see snow!
Stay tuned, I’m going to tell you all about our Canadian adventure! There is a lot to see in Quebec, Canada, there’s some places you should avoid and some restaurants you just cannot miss out on. I’m in the process of uploading all the pictures and soon there will be Canadian fun all over this blog. Bare with me and I’ll see you soon!
